About Ski the Tasman

Ski the Tasman is a skiing adventure day on New Zealand's longest glacier - the Tasman.

Operating every fine day: 01 July to 30 September - Mount Cook National Park.

The terrain on the Tasman Glacier is ideal for intermediate skiers. If you can ski blue runs - you can ski the mighty Tasman!

The day includes:

  • 2 guided ski runs of up to 8 kilometres each
  • A generous picnic lunch
  • 3 scenic ski plane flights
  • Safety equipment

Side trips to explore ice caves and surreal ice forms with your guide make the day unforgettable.

Ski The Tasman is professionally guided by Alpine Guides. Air access to the mountains is provided by Mount Cook Ski Planes. All guides are internationally qualified professionals.

Ex-Queenstown Fly/Ski/Fly Package
A daily return fly/ski/fly package is available out of Queenstown - 01 August to 15 September.
