New South Wales offers an extensive range of ski resorts that is sure to suit any snow addict’s needs. Approximately 5 hours’ drive from Sydney, the resorts offer a European style of snow sport with opportunities to stay on the mountain. These mountain villages are like no other and include the essentials as well as the luxuries, such as numerous bars, restaurants and even pampering spas. Jindabyne is the home base of which to explore your surroundings and day trip to the Mountain of your choice. Eurocentric style Thredbo has Australia’s longest run of 5.9 kilometres and is especially suited to snowboarders with its wide downhill runs. Selwyn Snowfields is a family destination with a focus on beginner and intermediate skiers or boarders. Charlotte Pass offers a true mountain village experience as it can only be reached by over-snow transport. Perisher is a versatile mountain close to the Skitube Alpine rail, making it a great place to participate in other snow related activities outside of skiing and snowboarding.

Each mountain resort has a huge number of activities and adventures waiting to be discovered, set amongst stunning National Park Mountain Ranges for an extraordinary view wherever you are. The New South Wales ski region is the perfect place to start your snow experience or revive your enthusiasm for the snow with family or friends.
